Here’s a list of EDS providers in, or accessible to, Pensacola Florida.
This list has been mostly compiled from posts in Facebook groups. Where it says “I” or “me,” it is not me but someone in the group.
These are not recommendations or any type of medical or personal advice. Do your own due diligence in checking them out and deciding if they might be helpful to YOU.
Most of these I’ve never heard of before, I have no idea what they do, and I don’t know if they’re accepting patients.

Medical Providers for EDS Patients
Dr Christopher D. Adams diagnosed and has been treating me. He’s thorough and compassionate.
Dr. Alicia Chen
4400 Bayou Boulevard Suite 49A, Pensacola, FL, 32503
(850) 741-4723
I love my rheumatologist. He’s persistent and diligent and understands autoimmune conditions and how they span out. Michael K VandenBerg here in town, and the medical center clinic on Davis Hwy.
Dr Brendon at return to health has been a life saver for me!
MCAS: Dr. Stephen Kimura at Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
Gastro, told he understands MCAS: Dr. Denby.
Rheumatology, I see Viraj Shah at Baptist. For immunology, I see Stephen Kimura at the Medical Clinic.
Diagnosed with hEDS by Dr. Steve Jordan in Gulf Breeze.
I was seen by Dr. Kachur at MCC.
Only doctor that has been pretty helpful and listens to my symptoms is Amanda Smith and Tiffany Wade with south baldwin medical group in foley al.
My doctor is in Fairhope Alabama. He is not well rehearsed on EDS but he does Prolotherapy and PRP injections into hypermobile ligaments. It regenerates them, strengthens them and tightens them and stops the subluxations. I have been doing it per body part as needed for 27 years.
He has saved me and is the only reason I can still work. Dr. McAllister.
Try a referral to Shands in Gainesville, FL or Birmingham, AL, or Mayo Clinic. Research which place has knowledgeable doctors.
Not local, but a friend of mine was diagnosed with EDS at UAB in Birmingham. It was a long search for them and they recommend UAB to anyone that asks.
EDS-aware Physical Therapy
I have POTS and EDS and would 100% recommend Renew Physical Therapy.
If you need a PT, Stark Performance Physical Therapy is amazing for hEDS, and hypermobility. They are downtown Pensacola.
PT: I highly recommend HCA Florida West rehab because Danielle (she’s one of the main PT doctors and not only a tech) and has hEDS along with POTS (if you happen to have that as well) and knows what to do and NOT do for Ehlers Danlos patients.
Only EDS Echo trained provider in town: Kaydee Zimmern for pelvic floor therapy.
Gulf Coast Pelvic Health
(850) 764-1092
Steve Sananikone of Evolve Therapy and Wellness, Gulf Breeze (near Ace Hardware).
(850) 533-0266
Exercise for Hypermobility
Once again, do your due diligence – and listen to your body if you try any of these out.
Barbari Bruni at PCT and Wild Lemon Pilates have helped me WAY more learn to manage my hypermobility spectrum disorder and pain.
I don’t know if Annabelle is still at Pure Pilates downtown, but she is an excellent instructor who is very knowledgeable about that. I don’t have a diagnosis but some other imbalances and instability that is hEDS adjacent, and her mat classes changed my life.
Julie Young has hEDS and teaches at Pure Pilates downtown and Gulf Breeze.
