How to Make a Gravatar
Head to http://en.gravatar.com.
To get a gravatar, you’ll need to have a WordPress.com account, which you’ll authorize to connect with gravatar. Whether you currently have a WordPress account or not, click the Sign In button at top right of the gravatar home page.
If you have a WordPress.com account, enter your information. You’ll then be asked to authorize Gravatar for your account. If you don’t, click Need an account? to create a new account.
To create a new account, enter the email address you use for posting online, and select a username and password. Click Sign Up to submit your registration.
Look for an email from WordPress.com. You won’t have a gravatar until you click on the link in that email. Then click on Activate Account to complete the process.
That will take you to WordPress.com, where you’ll have to click Sign in to Gravatar to add your image. Click the button and be signed in automatically.
Now you can upload your best profile picture which you want to be known by across the web. You’re no longer a mystery person when commenting on any WordPress blog, or other gravatar-enabled site.
