    Louise:

Thank you so much for the infographic and all the image sizes. I was wondering what dpi and compression levels Facebook prefers when uploading .jpegs?

    Thanks,

    Ro

      Hi Ro!

I always use 72dpi, as that’s how the images will appear to the end user. And I save the files at maximum size, as Facebook will compress them anyway.

Help! I think I messed this up!

Yesterday I set up a new Facebook page using my name. Your template Helped. Thank you.
I’m a recently published author and my book is selling well (yay) but now I am getting friend requests from readers that I want to go to my business page. I have a couple of other business pages in original format and no problems. But this new page has no search area for “people, places, or things”, so I can’t search for other pages to “like”. Also, when I am on this page, I cannot easily switch back to my profile page. I have to go to the top search bar and adjust the URL. I must have done something wrong, but am clueless. And not lovin’ this one bit. Especially since in the next couple of weeks my other business pages will automatically switch over to new format.
Any thoughts? Is it just me?

      Hi Pamela!
You should be able to search, and switch back to your profile page, in the very top bar – the same bar that has the notifications.

If you have the “follow” feature enabled on your profile, and you ignore the friend requests, they’ll automatically be following your public posts. Read more about that here: https://louisem.com/3513/facebook-follow-reach-fan-page

Then from time to time just create a public post on your profile that suggests people interested in your writing go “Like” your fan page!

Best of luck, and congrats on your success!
